Arjun is passionate about building strong, long-term relationships and creating value for all stakeholders in his quest for business and personal growth. Until Oct. 2024, Arjun worked with Fortescue Energy (ASX: FMG) to establish the company's green hydrogen business in India and sell green molecules to customers in Europe. Arjun is also pursuing his Executive MBA (eq.) at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He is currently an Independent Consultant in the green hydrogen sector, taking a break from full-time professional life for the time being. Until March 2023, he was a Management Consultant with KPMG Advisory leading the green hydrogen and new energies business for the Indian and Asian markets. For 3 years at ReNew Power (NASDAQ:RNW) until end-2021, he led sales of Open Access solar and wind power to large industrial consumers, while strategising for the newly formed green hydrogen BU. He designed and delivered decarbonisation solutions for large industrial consumers looking to adopt zero-carbon hydrogen and renewable electricity for their operations. In 2017-18, Arjun was with a high-octane start-up SolarTown, heading their new business and project finance divisions, where he delivered growth against odds in a relatively nascent field i.e. distributed solar energy. Previously, he was a Global Program Manager at Sims Recycling Solutions, helping manage strategic relationships, pricing strategy, service delivery and market planning in EMEAI for secure, circular & sustainable IT asset management services in 2013-17. Arjun started his career in investment banking, at Crisil and Citigroup between 2008 and 2013, working with top-ranked equity research teams that covered European Energy and Global Sustainability & Responsible Investing sectors. Arjun was a voluntary member at the B20 Task Force on Energy, Climate Change and Resource Efficiency during India's G20 Presidency year in 2023. He is also an active alumnus at the Chennai chapter of Round Table (MERT 30); India chapter of LSE Alumni; AIESEC; global steering committee for LSE Alumni Mentorship; and a sustainability consulting start-up based in London. He is also an angel investor, focusing on sectors including sustainable supply chains, agritech solutions, drones and aerospace manufacturing, and electric vehicles thus far. Outside of corporate life, Arjun is a participative parent to two lovely toddlers, remains a budding photographer and enjoys listening to Spanish guitar and psychedelic trance music.

Dr. Ajinkya S. Kamat leads green hydrogen initiatives at India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA), which is a leading industrial alliance, founded and managed by Customized Energy Solutions India and has 160+ member organizations across the energy storage, electricity mobility, and green hydrogen industries. Dr. Ajinkya has more than 8 years of experience in the energy sector, which includes consulting experience across North America & India and postdoctoral research experience at Harvard University (USA), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA), and Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. His research has addressed issues related to transnational industrial R&D and clean energy technologies including LED lighting, photovoltaics, networked geothermal, and green hydrogen. Dr. Ajinkya's policy advising efforts have contributed to shaping emerging energy technology policy initiatives in the USA and India. He has a PhD in Physics from the University of Virginia (USA), M.Sc. in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (India), and B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Mumbai (India). He has authored several articles in peer-reviewed journals and public media, and his work has also been cited in reputed news media.

David Wedepohl, Managing Director International Affairs David Wedepohl is a radio journalist by training who studied and worked on both sides of the Atlantic. He holds a master's degree in Journalism and Public Affairs which he achieved as a Fulbright scholar. His professional experience included working for the German embassy in Washington, DC as a senior press and public diplomacy officer. He first came in touch with the solar industry while working for an American consulting company before taking up his job as director communications and markets at the German Solar Association, also serving as the organization's spokesperson. He now holds the position of managing director international affairs and is responsible for the association's international activities. Among those are projects in North, West and Southern Africa, Latin America, South-East Asia and the US.
