These ecosystems consume a significant amount of hydrogen, thus improving the economic viability of the project. The objective is to cover the entire hydrogen value chain, including production, storage, distribution, and final utilization.

As of early May 2023, The Hydrogen Energy Platform maintains a database showcasing 82 such Hydrogen Valleys across the world.
