Gandhinagar: The smarter E India 2025, part of world’s largest exhibition series of exhibition and conference for creating a new energy world, held from February 12–14 at the Helipad Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar, celebrated a record-breaking edition, bringing together 235 exhibitors, 13,832 visitors, 317 VIP buyers, 46 speakers, 204 conference delegates from 17 countries. Organized by Messe Muenchen India, Solar Promotion International GmbH, Freiburg Management and Marketing International GmbH, the event showcased its exponential growth since its strategic move to Gujarat in 2021, solidifying its position as India’s leading platform for clean energy innovation and collaboration.
The transition from Intersolar India to The smarter E India represents more than just a name change – it embodies a global vision of integrating diverse energy sources. As energy cannot be viewed in isolation, The smarter E India brings together solar, storage, green hydrogen, and clean technologies under one roof to drive India’s clean energy transition. This holistic approach reflects the exhibition’s success in transforming itself into a platform that mirrors the global clean energy movement and energy transition.
The 2025 edition saw a significant 32% growth in exhibition space, further emphasising on the importance of Gujarat in India’s clean energy ecosystem. Key highlights included:
Bhupinder Singh, President IMEA (India, Middle East, Africa) & Messe München CEO, Messe München India, stated, “The smarter E India 2025 has once again demonstrated the power of collaboration and innovation in driving India’s clean energy transition. With an integrated approach across solar, energy storage, green hydrogen, and e-mobility, this trade fair continues to create meaningful partnerships and business opportunities. We remain committed to supporting India’s ambitious energy goals and providing a platform for growth, innovation and sustainable progress.”
Leading exhibitors, including Adani Solar, Waaree, Vikram Solar, Bharath Cell, Polycab, Fimer, Hioki, Eastman, KP Green and others, applauded the platform for facilitating new business opportunities and knowledge sharing.
The smarter E India’s success aligns with India’s Net Zero target of 500 GW by 2030. The trade fair will continue to play a crucial role in driving clean energy innovations, scaling manufacturing capabilities, and fostering collaborations across industries. With Gujarat leading India’s clean energy growth, The smarter E India remains committed to building on this momentum and will return for its next edition in 2026 from 25-27 February.
