Dr. Roy is an advisor, mentor, and a co-author of solar code of practices and committee member of BSI and IEC international standards. He is a recipient of the Glory of India award and a finalist of the Great British Entrepreneur Award. In 2009, he has supported the policy team of the National Solar Mission of India, created a successful consortium of academia and corporates between UK and India, and executed over 20 GW of utility scale and commercial rooftop PV and BESS systems.
